{Dr. Name} suggests using a soft to medium toothbrush. Hold the brush at a 45-degree angle where your teeth meet your gums. Use gentle, circular motions with light pressure to clean the outer surfaces of your teeth. Be careful not to press too hard, especially when brushing between teeth.
After cleaning the outer surfaces, apply the same gentle circular strokes to the inside of your back teeth. For the front teeth, hold the brush vertically and use small back-and-forth motions, also brushing gently along the gums.
Finally, clean the biting surfaces with short, gentle strokes, adjusting the brush position as needed to reach every area. Using a mirror can help ensure you don’t miss any spots. Finish by rinsing your mouth vigorously to wash away loosened plaque.
