Emergency Dentist in Winter Garden, FL

A bad toothache, a broken tooth or a crown that falls out never comes at a good time. If it happens during our office hours, call Three Oaks Dental first. We keep room in the schedule for dental emergencies and will try to see you the same day.

Call (689) 407-2230. 990 Windermere Rd, Suite 101, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Dental emergencies we help with

  • Severe toothache. Throbbing or constant pain often means deep decay or an infection. We find the cause and treat it, which may mean a filling, a root canal or an extraction.
  • Chipped, cracked or broken tooth. Small chips can often be repaired with bonding. Bigger breaks may need a crown.
  • Lost filling or crown. Keep the crown if you have it and bring it with you.
  • Knocked-out adult tooth. Hold it by the top (not the root), rinse it gently, and keep it in milk or inside your cheek. Call us right away. Time matters.
  • Swelling or a gum abscess. Infections need prompt care. See the warning signs below.
  • Broken denture or a problem with an implant. Call and describe what happened, and we will tell you what to do next.

What to do before your visit

  • Rinse with warm salt water.
  • Use a cold compress on the outside of your cheek for swelling.
  • Take an over-the-counter pain reliever as directed on the label, if it is safe for you.
  • Do not put aspirin directly on the gum.

When to go to the ER instead

Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you have facial swelling that is spreading, trouble breathing or swallowing, a high fever with swelling, heavy bleeding that will not stop, or a jaw injury from an accident.

After hours and weekends

We are closed on weekends. If you have a dental problem when we are closed, call our office line for instructions, and call us first thing on the next business day. For the serious symptoms listed above, do not wait. Go to the ER.

New patients welcome

You do not need to be a current patient to call us with an emergency. Many patients first meet us this way and then stay for their family's routine care. See New Patients.
